Structure
The Board (“Directors”) has fifteen (15) Members, including two (2) Direct Member Officers (President and Vice President), one (1) US CPC President, four (4) Regional Directors, seven (7) At Large Directors, and one (1) Allied Leadership Council President. Additionally, the CEO also serves as an ex officio Member of the Board.

Rosemary Maloney is a seasoned executive with nearly two decades of progressive leadership in corporate travel, operations, and services. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate Travel at Freeman Company, she oversees corporate travel strategy, supplier relations, and policy governance for a leading brand in events and exhibitions.
Previously, she held key leadership roles at Alteryx, Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp., Sprinklr, and Tapestry, where she was instrumental in building and optimizing travel, expense, and card programs across global markets. Her deep operational expertise was also shaped by roles at Egencia, IAC, and the United Nations, giving her unique insight into both the private and public sectors. She holds an MBA in Communication and Media Management from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a BA in Speech Communication from Ithaca College.
Rosemary serves as President on the Board of Directors for the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), where she helps shape the future of business travel through advocacy, education, and industry innovation.

Kevin Sullivan

Kevin Sullivan is a key figure within the Southwest Business Team, holding the position of managing director of sales. Located in Dallas, Texas, he oversees the Global and National Sales, Sales Analytics, and Customer Success Teams. Kevin’s main areas of focus are developing his team, collaborating on the sales strategies, and expanding a multi-billion-dollar portfolio.
With an impressive 24 years of experience in the airline industry, Kevin’s journey began as the marketing manager for Houston and South Texas markets at Southwest. Following this role, he became one of the original members of the corporate sales team, where he played a crucial role in managing sales activities with Fortune 1000 companies. His dedication and leadership resulted in the growth and enhancement of the sales team in 2007. Over time, Kevin’s career progression saw him rise to director, senior director, and ultimately, managing director of field sales.
Beyond his responsibilities at Southwest Airlines, Kevin is an active member of the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) for over two decades. He has been actively involved in supporting local business travel association chapters through various means such as membership, sponsorship, and speaking engagements. Kevin has also held significant roles within the Aviation Committee and Allied Leadership Council. Presently, he serves as the Treasurer on the GBTA Board of Directors.
Kevin has his Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University. Outside of his professional life, Kevin finds purpose in his family. He has been married to his wife, Anna, for 15 years, and they have two children, Liam Joseph and Lauren Riley, who are his pride and joy.

Edward Galvan

Edward Galvin is a responsible for North America B2B Commercial Payments Sales at Visa. This role involves working consultatively with card issuing partners to grow Large & middle market commercial card portfolios and to ensure the optimal deployment of Visa solutions to support both the card issuer and end corporate needs.
In prior roles at Visa, Edward has been responsible for US Large Market product setting the strategy and executing on commercial product initiatives to grow the large market segment. He has also managed the Engagement and Expansion team for Visa Business Solutions in Europe. Edward initiated his career working as a Management Consultant for Deloitte in London, UK. Prior to joining Visa, Edward held a Sales Consulting position with First Data.
Edward graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Science degrees (Accounting, Finance & Information) from University College Cork, Ireland. Edward is an avid marathoner and runs an annual 26.2! He is an active mentor and a certified Co-Active Leadership coach. Currently Edward mentors with American Corporate Partners supporting veterans transition to careers post their service. Edward is a champion of Irish American community activities via his role on the Ireland Network USA Advisory Board and he is President of the Chicago Irish Film Festival.

Michelle has over 12 years’ experience in the business travel industry and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table. Having been actively involved in the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) as both an Allied and Direct member, Michelle has contributed significantly to the industry’s advancement.
During her time as a Program Manager at a Travel Management Company (TMC), she spearheaded numerous successful initiatives, ensuring streamlined and efficient travel solutions for clients across various sectors. With a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach, Michelle earned the trust and confidence of clients and colleagues alike.
She moved to the buyer side a little over 5 years ago. Currently, Michelle is the Associate Director of Travel, Expense and Corporate Card at Qualtrics. The travel and expense programs were extremely disjointed prior to her joining. Through her leadership and strategic vision, Michelle has been able to build a best-in-class program.
Her commitment and passion of our industry is demonstrated by Michelle’s dedicated involvement in the GBTA Puget Sound Chapter (PSBTA), participation in WiNIT and being a Ladders Alumni. She served on the PSBTA Executive Board for multiple terms, including Secretary, Vice President, and President. Michelle has focused her term on fostering a collaborative community; where buyers and suppliers come together and support each other in unique ways. While in the CPC, she served on the Standards and Guidelines Committee which focuses on providing resources to Boards and developing processes to streamline operations. She is dedicated to nurturing the next generation of industry leaders, contributing to the ongoing growth and innovation within corporate travel.

Carlos led the implementation of SAP Concur across 65 countries, streamlining processes and improving compliance. Recently, he expanded his role to oversee Cisco’s internal Meetings and Events, managing procurement activities for over 1600 events. Prior to joining Regeneron, Christina’s career was focused in the TMC space at companies such as BCD Travel, World Travel, Inc., and Protravel/Tzell Travel (now part of Internova). Having had many different roles over in this space, her favorite was in Program Management where she was responsible for running global travel strategy for a variety of marquis clients focusing on program evolution and cost savings.

Elizabeth (Liz) Oliveira

Elizabeth’s passion for the travel industry began in the early years of High School, where she took part in the first ever co-op program for high school students. At her first placement, The Westin Harbor Castle Hotel, her passion for business travel developed and grew into a 15-year career that spanned multiple hotels in the Great Toronto Area.
In 2016, Elizabeth had the unique opportunity to parlay her hospitality experience and business travel insights into a role as a travel analyst with OMERS, a world-class income-trust retirement municipal employee fund company that has been in operation for over 60 years, and has generated more than $138 billion in net assets, making it one of Canada’s largest defined benefit pension plan companies.
In her current role at OMERS, Elizabeth manages all aspects of their global corporate travel program. Engaging and collaborating with enterprise-wide personnel to understand travel needs, negotiate, leverage and identify volumes with suppliers of air, hotel, car and ground transportation to provide overall cost reduction and compliance.
Elizabeth was honored to have been elected to the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) Board Of Directors, Canada regional seat in 2023 along with her standing role on the GBTA Canada Advisory Board. As a dedicated professional in the field of business travel, this recognition is a testament of her commitment to advancing the industry and contributing to its growth on a global scale.

Katharine Farrell

Katharine Farrell has been a longtime supporter and member of GBTA. She attended her first GBTA (then NBTA) Convention in 2007 in Boston as an intern for Eos Airlines. Today, she serves on the GBTA Board of Directors as Director-at-Large, Allied Member. She previously co-chaired the GBTA WINiT Education & Development Committee for two terms and remains active in the GBTA Ladders program as a final presentation judge after participating as a mentee, alumni advisor and committee member for several years. In 2021 and 2023 she was recognized as a Top Women in Travel honoree by GBTA WINiT and was part of the winning GBTA Ladders team in 2017.
Katharine joined Serko as Head of Marketing, Managed Travel in February 2025 where she leads strategic marketing initiatives to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition in the managed travel sector with a focus on expanding Serko’s presence in the U.S. market. Prior to Serko, she served as Manager – Sales Digital Marketing Communications for Delta Air Lines from 2022-2025 where she led the strategy for internal communications and B2B digital marketing for Global Sales. Prior to joining Delta, Katharine founded Dots & Lines, Inc., an independent marketing and communications agency that specialized in serving travel industry clients. Katharine has held various marketing roles throughout her career, managing digital marketing, thought leadership content and public relations initiatives.

Katie is Head of Sales and Marketing at FESTIVE ROAD, the only people first and purpose led company providing consulting and outsourcing services for global travel, meetings and expense programs. Our mission is to create better experiences for our clients, environments for our people, and thought leadership for our industry. Katie creates better as she leads the sales and marketing functions and supports the industry as a speaker and in a variety of volunteer roles. She is a GBTA Ladders mentor and Chair of the GBTA Technology Committee. She was named to the 2023 GBTA WINiT Top 50 in the category of Women Innovating the Way We Travel.
Outside of work, Katie is President of the Board for Community Resource Services, a non-profit focused on diminish the effects of poverty in Avon and Avon Lake. She loves speaking and coaching people on her 70% solution to find Bold Balance (the good B’s!) and implement behaviors that help avoid Burnout (the bad B!). She also has a crazy goal to run the world and complete a half marathon on every continent.

Laura has built a distinguished career in the luxury hospitality sector and recently celebrated 14 years with Global Hotel Alliance (GHA). During her time with the company, she has held a variety of sales roles covering the EMEA and APAC regions. Prior to joining GHA, Laura worked with prestigious hotel brands including Sofitel and Kempinski, gaining valuable on-property experience. In her current role, she oversees strategic partnerships across EMEA, focusing on sales, marketing, and fostering strong relationships with both brand partners and clients. Laura also manages an internal referral tool designed to strengthen connections and drive value across GHA’s member network.
Laura served as Co-Chair of the GBTA Ladders Mentorship Program from 2019 to 2022, working alongside fellow chairs to foster connections and support emerging talent within the travel industry. Since stepping down from the role, she has continued to contribute as a member of the GBTA Ladders Advisory Board, where she is currently serving the third year of her four-year term. Throughout her involvement with the program, Laura has experienced it from multiple perspectives—starting as a mentee, contributing to various committees, and serving as a judge on the final judging panel. In recognition of her dedication and impact, she was awarded the GBTA Ladders Outstanding Contribution Award in 2019.
In 2022, Laura was honoured to be named one of GBTA’s “Top 50 Women in Travel”—a recognition she holds with great pride, especially alongside so many other inspiring women in the industry. That same year, she was also named GBTA’s Volunteer of the Month for October. Her involvement with both GBTA Ladders and WINiT has been driven by genuine passion, and she credits these volunteer experiences with enriching her growth both professionally and personally.
Alongside her involvement with the GBTA Ladders program, Laura has also been an active contributor to GBTA WINiT. As a member of the Global Expansion Committee, she worked closely with peers to broaden access to the mentoring program and engage new participants. Today, Laura continues her commitment to the initiative as a member of the GBTA WINiT EMEA Advisory Board, where she is focused on supporting the program’s growth and impact across the region.

Lindsay Straub

Lindsay is a dynamic sales and people leader with a focus on enhancing corporate travel programs, growth and customer acquisition. She brings more than 12 years of experience in corporate travel to her role at FCM Travel where she oversees the company’s global sales strategy through key initiatives and innovative solutions.
Prior to joining FCM in April 2024, she served as Vice President of Sales for the BTN Group (Business Travel News), managing a diverse portfolio of B2B media and event products. Lindsay is a member of the GBTA Ladders Advisory Board and was named to GBTA WINiT’s ‘Top 50 Women in Travel’ in 2022.
Lindsay has a double major in Public Relations and Journalism from Marist College. She loves to travel and play golf – though she’ll tell you her score doesn’t always reflect that.

Suzanne Neufang

Suzanne Neufang was named CEO of GBTA in February 2021, where she leads the association’s mission, strategy, and programs to benefit stakeholders across the global business travel industry.
She is a transformation-focused executive who has led product, service and organizational innovation through times of great change – “connecting dots” across geographies, functions, people, and results. She’s held leadership roles within the travel industry for the past 20 years, including at HRS, GetThere, Travelocity and Sabre. Before travel, she was a leader in tech and telecom industries at Intuit, Verizon, and GTE. She’s been an active volunteer in the travel industry, including serving as board president of the former Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE).
Suzanne holds a masters degree from the University of Hawaii, and a bachelors degree from Minot State University in North Dakota. She and her husband, Ralf, live in New York City, and have two grown sons.
Fun fact: Suzanne has visited over 40 countries on her professional and personal travels.
Mission
GBTA’s Allied Members are a vital conduit for addressing the travel industry’s most pressing issues and assuring that their concerns are addressed by GBTA. The Allied Leadership Council represents GBTA Allied Members by acting as an advocate for the Allied community within GBTA, and assures that the Allied/GBTA relationship remains strong and productive.
Structure
The Allied Leadership Council president (elected by ALC members) sits on the GBTA Board of Directors, and offers input and votes on all issues pertaining to the future direction of GBTA.
